We Live Free and Eat Local ALL YEAR. But August is officially NH Eats Local Month! Join us for 31 days of rallying around the bounty of New Hampshire and to thank our hard working farmers, fishers, and food businesses. Partners and eaters from across the state will join together to celebrate the power of food in bringing us all together and celebrating our choice to eat and support local food. Learn more about what is happening for this year’s NH Eats Local Month celebration below!
2021 NH Eats Local Month will include:
NH’S BIG BITE
To kick off NH Eats Local Month on Sunday, August 1, we are encouraging all Granite Staters to come together to take a big bite out of something local. This year’s bite: pancakes with deliciously local NH maple syrup. Our partners can plan and promote pancake breakfasts at their businesses and in their communities to show their support. And eaters can whip up pancakes at home with their families! Everyone can take photos of their big bites and share with us at NH Eats Local!
HOW TO JOIN IN:
– Find out about a local pancake breakfast near you and attend.
– Whip up pancakes at home with locally grown and produced products. Resources to source local for: maple syrup, eggs, bacon and sausage, dairy
